益气通窍饮联合揿针治疗慢性鼻窦炎(肺脾气虚型)疗效及对血清炎性因子的影响
Efficacy of Yiqi Tongqiao Decoction Combined with Thumbtack Needle Therapy in Treating Chronic Sinusitis of Lung-Spleen Qi Deficiency Type and Its Impact on Serum Inflammatory Factors

Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of Yiqi Tongqiao Decoction combined with thumbtack needle therapy in treating chronic sinusitis of lung-spleen qi deficiency type and its impact on serum inflammatory factors.Methods:A total of 90 patients with chronic sinusitis who visited the otolaryngology department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to March 2024 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group based on the order of visits,with 45 patients in each group.The control group received facial thumbtack needle therapy,while the observation group received Yiqi Tongqiao Decoction in addition to the thumbtack needle therapy.After excluding dropouts,37 and 39 patients in the observation and control groups,respectively,completed the study.The Sino-Nasal Outcome Test-20(SNOT-20),Visual Analog Scale(VAS),modified Lund-Kennedy endoscopic score(MLK),and nasal airway resistance(NAR)were assessed and compared before and after treatment.Serum levels of inflammatory factors,including IL-4,IL-13,IL-33,and TNF-α,were measured and compared before and after treatment.The safety and efficacy of the two treatment methods were evaluated.Results:Compared with pre-treatment levels,both groups showed significant reductions in SNOT-20,VAS,MLK,NAR,and serum levels of IL-4,IL-13,IL-33,and TNF-α after treatment(P<0.05).Post-treatment,the observation group exhibited significantly lower SNOT-20,MLK,NAR,and serum levels of IL-4,IL-13,IL-33,and TNF-α compared to the control group(P<0.05).Both treatment methods were safe,and the overall efficacy of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yiqi Tongqiao Decoction combined with thumbtack needle therapy demonstrates superior efficacy in treating chronic sinusitis(lung-spleen qi deficiency type)with good safety,possibly due to its inhibitory effect on the expression of serum inflammatory factors.关键词
