芪归补血糖浆对肺脾气虚型非小细胞肺癌化疗患者免疫功能和癌因性疲乏的影响
Effect of Qigui Buxue Syrup on Immune Function and Cancer-Related Fatigue in Chemotherapy Patients with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer of Lung-Spleen Qi Deficiency Type

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of Qigui Buxue Syrup on immune function and cancer-related fatigue(CRF)in chemotherapy patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)of lung-spleen qi deficiency type.Methods:A total of 124 NSCLC patients hospitalized in the Department of Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy at Cangzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine,Hebei,from January 2022 to April 2024 were selected as the study subjects.According to the randomized controlled principle,they were divided into a chemotherapy-alone group and a combined traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)group(chemotherapy+Qigui Buxue Syrup),with 62 cases in each group.The clinical efficacy,CRF degree,Karnofsky Performance Status(KPS)score,immune function indicators,and tumor marker levels were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the combined TCM group was 91.94%(57/62),which was higher than that of the chemotherapy-alone group(79.03%,49/62)(P<0.05).After treatment,the number of patients with mild fatigue increased in both groups,while those with moderate and severe fatigue decreased.Moreover,the increase in mild fatigue patients and the decrease in severe fatigue patients were greater in the combined TCM group than in the chemotherapy-alone group(P<0.05).The KPS scores of both groups were higher than those before treatment,and the combined TCM group had higher KPS scores than the chemotherapy-alone group(P<0.05).Compared with pretreatment levels,CD3+,CD4+,and NK cells increased in both groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the levels of CD3+,CD4+,and NK cells in the combined TCM group were higher than those in the chemotherapy-alone group(P<0.05).Compared with pretreatment levels,vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),and matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP9)decreased in both groups after treatment(P<0.05),and VEGF,CEA,and MMP9 in the combined TCM group were lower than those in the chemotherapy-alone group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Qigui Buxue Syrup combined with chemotherapy can improve immune function and quality of life,as well as alleviate CRF symptoms in NSCLC patients with lung-spleen qi deficiency type,with superior efficacy compared to chemotherapy alone.关键词
