Abstract
Based on the Liver Zangxiang(藏象)theory,professor JIA Liujin proposes that the pathogen-esis of pediatric tic disorders lies in"internal stirring of liver wind".He employs a three-step treatment proto-col:syndrome differentiation to determine therapeutic principles,formula selection based on pattern identifica-tion and disease-specific herb modification.While primarily using liver-pacifying and wind-extinguishing meth-ods,professor JIA simultaneously addresses other organ dysfunctions through tailored formula selection.He classifies cases into five patterns:liver hyperactivity with wind stirring,lung qi deficiency,spleen deficiency with liver excess,heart-gallbladder qi deficiency,and yin deficiency with wind stirring.Using the Pinggan Xi-feng Fang(平肝息风方)as the foundational prescription,he modifies it with specific herbs according to each child's predominant symptoms.This approach achieves:precise targeting of core pathogenesis,accurate thera-peutic strategies,and comprehensive management of secondary complications.The treatment yields satisfactory clinical outcomes,as demonstrated in the attached case report.关键词
