基于小儿体质初探保和丸治疗小儿湿疹
A preliminary exploration of Baohe Wan(保和丸)in treating infantile eczema based on pediatric constitution
摘要
Abstract
The pathogenesis of infantile eczema is characterized by dampness accumulation in the skin as the superficial manifestation and spleen-stomach dysfunction as the root cause, with a complex interplay of deficiency and excess closely related to innate constitutional factors.Food stagnation damaging the spleen is the primary pathological factor, while internal retention of food stagnation and dampness obstruction are key to its onset.Given that children's constitutions are predominantly pure yang, internal dampness tends to transform into heat.Prolonged illness often involves both the spleen and lung, and the severity of pruritus is closely linked to the child's mental state.Early-stage infantile eczema is mostly an excess syndrome, but the condition progresses rapidly.Persistent cases may consume qi and injure fluids, leading to a mixed deficiency-excess pattern.Clinical medication should be discontinued once efficacy is achieved.Baohe Wan(保和丸),a mild formula for harmonizing the middle jiao and promoting digestion, contain neither extremely cold nor hot ingredients. With a gentle action and the advantage of"eliminating pathogens without harming healthy qi,"it aligns well with pediatric constitutional characteristics. In treating infantile eczema,Baohe Wan not only address the root by strengthening the spleen, resolving dampness, and promoting digestion but also alleviate the superficial symptoms by clearing heat and relieving itching. The formula can be flexibly adjusted based on the progression of deficiency-excess patterns, complications,or concurrent syndromes, achieving holistic physical and mental regulation with notable efficacy.关键词
