Exploring the treatment of pediatric asthma from the stomach based on the theory of"accumulation in the stomach,connection to the lungs"
摘要
Abstract
Based on the theory of"accumulation in the stomach,connection to the lungs",this paper ex-plores the theoretical connotation of treating pediatric asthma from the stomach by analyzing three aspects:the interdependence of stomach and lung fluids,the regulation of qi movement,and the interconnection of merid-ians.Pediatric asthma arises from the combination of internal and external factors,with phlegm retention being its"latent root."However,due to the insufficiency of the spleen and stomach in children,food is difficult to di-gest,leading to internal factors such as the binding of phlegm and food.Traditional Chinese medicine holds that"when healthy qi remains strong,pathogenic factors cannot invade."Therefore,the primary treatment for pediatric asthma should address internal factors.Combining the theoretical connotation of"accumulation in the stomach,connection to the lungs,"this paper proposes a staged treatment approach for pediatric asthma:dur-ing the acute phase,harmonizing and descending lung-stomach qi while resolving phlegm and dispelling reten-tion;during the prolonged phase,eliminating pathogens and transforming phlegm while tonifying the lung and stomach;and during the remission phase,reinforcing healthy qi,consolidating the root,and strengthening earth(spleen-stomach)to generate metal(lung).A medical case is included for illustration.关键词
