传统街区公共设施适老化改造策略研究
Study on the Strategies for the Elderly Friendly Transformation of Public Facilities in the Traditional Blocks:A Case of the Yansi Old Street in Huizhou

Abstract
Under the backdrop of new urbanization,the issue of population aging has become increasingly prominent.In addressing the challenges posed by an aging population in traditional blocks,there are issues such as poor infrastructure,lack of barrier-free facilities,and insufficient public space design.Taking the Yansi Old Street in Huizhou as examples,this paper examines the activity characteristics and needs of the elderly in traditional blocks,explores their behavioral patterns and influencing factors,and then summarizes the corresponding spatial characteristics.From the perspective of elderly behavior,this paper proposes a strategy for gradually transforming traditional blocks to be elderly friendly through comprehensive block planning,facility improvements,landscape environment enhancements,activity space considerations,and historical and cultural preservation.It provides a new approach for the protection and development of the traditional blocks.关键词
