基于拉瓦尔喷管的高速气流灭弧的仿真和试验
Simulation and Test of High Speed Gas Arc-Extinguishing Combined with Laval Nozzle

Abstract
The traditional parallel protection gap cannot extinguish the arc by itself.A high speed arc-extinguishing lightning protection device based on the Lavar nozzle structure is proposed.The fault arc is blown out by this high speed arc-extinguishing device,improving the operation stability of 110 kV trans-mission system and above.Based on the theory of electromagnetic fluid dynamics,analyze the character-istics of arc motion,and build the simulation model of the arc extinguishing device in COMSOL Mul-tiphysics software.The cloud map of the air velocity,conductivity and temperature of the arc process are obtained.According to the criterion of arc critical temperature,it is determined that the arc has been successfully extinguished.The high voltage test further verifies its arc-extinguishing capability and ef-fectiveness.Both simulation and test results show that this high speed gas arc-extinguishing device com-bined with Laval nozzle can effectively extinguish the arc before the relay protection action.关键词
