摘要

Abstract

The segmented power supply of the EMU poses severe challenges to the roof arrester due to the rich harmonics and transient overvoltage.The operating condition of the EMU is investigated,suggesting that the harmonics are mainly 25th,27th,and 29th,and the maximum of total harmonic distortion(THD)even reaches to79.8%.Aging tests of ZnO varistors are conducted after precise simulation of voltage waveforms.Current density-electric field curves are not symmetric for the positive and negative direction,and ZnO varistors degrade more severely in the negative direction,where α decreases from 43.4 to 30.8 and JL increases from 0.85 μA/cm2 to 2.51 μΑ/cm2.It is obtained that two dynamics are predominant during aging,that is,trapping of electrons by the empty interface states and the migration of adsorbed oxygen(Oad).The findings provide data support for the improvement in stability of ZnO varis-tors against complicated conditions and benefit the understanding of aging mechanism.
