Abstract

Basin insulators are the key component of GIS circuit breakers.The defects such as bubbles,cracks and surface fouling generated during production and transportation will cause surface flashover and other faults of GIS and reduce the reliability of equipment operation.The ultrasonic guided wave method is used to detect the defects of GIS basin insulators.Firstly,a three-dimensional simulation model of basin insulators is constructed in Comsol,and ultrasonic excitation points and receiving points are set to conduct ultrasonic guided wave simulation research on intact and defective insulators respectively.When there are defects,the received signal amplitude is smaller than that of intact insulators.The effectiveness of ultrasonic guided wave method is verified.After that,5 dB Gaussian white noise is added to the simu-lation signals respectively,and the noisy signals are processed by wavelet,VMD and OMP denoising methods respectively.All the three methods can achieve effective denoising.After that,the ultrasonic guided wave test platform of the basin insulator was built,and ultrasonic signals were obtained through the ultrasonic guided wave experiment.Gaussian white noise of-10,-5,0,5 and 10 dB were added to the signals respectively.After calculating the reconstruction error,the noise reduction effect of OMP algorithm was better than that of wavelet and VMD.
