DOA Estimation Based on Reconstructed Frequency Domain Covariance Matrix

Abstract
A direction of arrival(DOA)estimation method based on reconstructed frequency domain covariance matrix is proposed to address the problem of poor performance or even failure of traditional DOA estimation methods under low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and few snapshots.This method suppresses noise by conjugate inverse correction based on the converted frequency domain signal,constructs a new frequency domain covariance matrix,establishes a spatial spectral estimation function using the average noise subspace,and estimates the azimuth of the signal source through spectral peak search.Through simulation and comparative analysis,the improved method proposed in this paper can identify multiple coherent signals and still achieve good azimuth estimation performance under low SNR and few snapshots.The estimation error is reduced by 2%~25%compared with that of traditional algorithms.关键词
