Abstract
To ensure the correctness of the field values in packets for a large volume of data packets from heterogeneous protocol conversion systems,traditional verification methods face significant challenges.In response to this issue,a reference model is proposed,wherein the target protocol serves as the processing unit.This reference model facilitates the implementation of packet header mapping between different protocols by independently processing data packets from various protocol channels to ensure that the packets align with expectations.Moreover,the reference model streamlines the protocol conversion algorithm into four types through an optimization algorithm,thereby effectively mitigating the impact of code redundancy on packet accuracy.Developed using SystemVerilog and universal verification methodology(UVM),the reference model̓s extensibility and reusability are enhanced through the transaction level modeling(TLM)mechanism to enable seamless collaboration with other components.Experimental findings illustrate that the reference model successfully generates the anticipated packets and aids the verification platform in executing the functional verification of the heterogeneous protocol conversion system.Noteworthy,both code coverage and functional coverage reach 100%.关键词
