Abstract

With the continuous increase in energy demand and the continuous extension of the power grid structure,monitoring transmission lines is an important task to ensure the safety of the power grid.Traditional single technology methods such as laser detection and video detection have shortcomings such as poor accuracy and practicality in identifying hidden targets,spatial position perception,and distance measurement.This paper proposes an online monitoring method for transmission lines based on Beidou positioning,2D visible light images,and 3D laser point cloud fusion.Firstly,the fusion of 2D and 3D feature levels and target levels is used to achieve complementary advantages of both parties.At the same time,the color and texture information of the target object,as well as the 3D spatial contour and depth information,are obtained,which improves the detection and classification of hidden targets,as well as the ability to detect target distance and position.Secondly,the integration with Beidou positioning ensures spatiotemporal consistency,realizes sensor time synchronization,equipment position verification,and hazard absolute position calculation,and achieves high-precision hazard target detection.The research method proposed in this paper compensates for the shortcomings of a single monitoring method,improves the accuracy and practicality of target detection,and better meets typical application scenarios such as external damage and floating object monitoring,tree obstacle monitoring and growth risk prediction,cross crossing monitoring and trend prediction.
