摘要

Abstract

At present,the discharge capacity calculation method of trapezoidal section(or open channel)overflow weir of the spillway is not perfect and mature.Based on the hydraulic model test of the trapezoidal section overflow weir with different slope coefficient m,the calculation method of the discharge capacity of the trapezoidal section overflow weir is put forward.The discharge of the trapezoidal section overflow weir is divided into two parts:the discharge of the middle rectangular section area and the discharge of the slope area on both sides in this method.The discharge calculation method of the each area is as follows:the discharge of the middle rectangular section is calculated according to the conventional discharge formula of the overflow weir;in the discharge calculation of the slope area on both sides,the factors that the slope area velocity and discharge coefficient decrease compared with the corresponding values of the middle rectangular area are considered,and the relationship between the discharge coefficient correction factor β of the slope area and slope coefficient m is put forward,the modified discharge coefficient can be applied to the discharge calculation of the slope area on both sides.The research results are verified by the hydraulic model test results of the related engineering,which have the characteristics of convenient calculation and high precision,and can be used as a reference for similar engineering design and operation.
