Abstract
Fish-crossing facilities are important measures to mitigate the adverse effects of dam projects on migratory fish and protect biodiversity.The entrance of fish-trapping of fish-crossing facility and the characteristics of water flow are very important to the fish crossing effect.Taking a reservoir project as an example,a two-dimensional hydrodynamic mathematical model was first established using MIKE21 software based on measured river terrain and water conservancy hub layout,to simulate the flow field of the tailrace channel and downstream river of the power plant.Through optimizing the local terrain downstream of the tailrace channel and comparing and analyzing the entrance of fish-trapping of fish-crossing facility,it is recommended to arrange the entrance of fish-trapping on the right side of the tailwater channel.then,the water flow characteristics under different operating conditions matching with different combinations of water supplement flow rates at the entrance of fish-trapping are determined based on numerical simulation.It has been confirmed that the recommended entrance of fish-trapping has a significant velocity gradient in the water flow.There is a flow field condition of fish gathering nearby,which is conducive to the upstream fish to find the entrance.关键词
