Statistical Characteristics and Convection Indexes of Thunderstorm and Gale in Meizhou

Abstract
The statistical characteristics of thunderstorm and gale in Meizhou were analyzed using obvious thunderstorm and gale process in Meizhou area during 2010-2021.The results showed that,the average annual frequency of thunderstorm and gale in Meizhou showed a distribution trend of less in the east and less in the west,and more in the middle,with three frequent centers.Thunderstorms and gale have significant seasonal characteristics,mainly occurring from March to September,with a unimodal distribution,with the highest occurrence in August.The daily changes were significant,mainly between 13h and 19h in the afternoon,with the highest frequency at 17h.The convection index of thunderstorm and gale were analyzed using corrected sounding datas,showed the convection index thresholds of CAPE、LI、K、Si、SHR3、SHR6、T85、T75 from March to September which could offer references for the forecast of thunderstorm and gale in Meizhou.关键词
