Abstract

Problems often arise in large-scale engineering construction operations.In order to quickly and efficiently find ideas and solutions to solve engineering problems and improve economic benefits,this paper sorts out the research process of shale gas casing deformation problems,and applies dialectical materialism philosophy to observe and refine.The general process and method for solving engineering problems are analyzed and summarized: (1)Problems posing:through comprehensive investigation,typical case analysis,as well as refining the rough and accurate,and combining professional theoretical knowledge to extract scientific problems from engineering problems. (2)Research mechanism:Based on scientific problems,a reasonable abstraction of the occurrence process of on-site engineering problems is carried out,and a model related to various main factors is established.Using the model,theoretical/numerical/experimental research is conducted to clarify the main controlling factors of scientific problems and the inherent connections between each factor.Using a model,analyze the process of contradictory movements that occur in a problem,clarify which stages the process has,the particularity of each stage's contradiction,the main and secondary contradictions,the main and secondary aspects(factors)of the contradiction,how each factor is connected,the position of each aspect of the contradiction,the situation of confrontation,and their respective changes,in order to ultimately reveal the essential causes of the problem. (3)Research and development innovation meass:Based on the understanding of the contradictions that arise,analyze the conditions for the transformation of contradictions,explore ways to solve problems,and then develop specific technical methods to solve engineering problems around technical issues such as prediction,warning,control,and prevention. (4)Experimentation and extension services:In the process of testing new processes and technologies,analyze and test the new problems brought by system matching,optimize and improve the product,improve technical maturity,and ultimately solve engineering problems. The above process can be described using PRIS,whose underlying logic aligns with the epistemology and methodology of dialectical materialism.On the one hand,PRIS contains the epistemological ideas of dialectical materialism,that is,the four stages of PRIS are the process of dialectical materialist epistemology of"practice cognition re practice cognition".On the other hand,PRIS contains the dialectical thinking of materialism,which follows the dialectical relationship between special and general,problem and contradiction,phenomenon and essence.As an engineering process method that embodies philosophical regularity,PRIS can not only provide guidance for solving engineering problems in engineering practice,but also reveal the inherent connections between science,technology,and engineering,and provide a feasible methodology for cultivating outstanding engineers.
