How Does Green and Low-Carbon Transformation of Agriculture Affect Food Security

Abstract
Green low-carbon transformation of agriculture is the road to high-quality development of ag-riculture and the target task,food security is a major event related to the national economy and people's livelihood,and there is a real contradiction between green low-carbon transformation of agriculture and food security and the inherent logic of internal unity.Correctly recognizing and scientifically dealing with the correlation between agricultural green low-carbon transformation and food security is the key to reali-zing the organic unity of high-quality development and high-level security.Based on the panel data of 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2022,the article calculates and analyzes the mechanism of agricultural green low-carbon transition for food security by using the entropy method,fixed effect model,moderating effect model and mediating effect model.The following conclusions are drawn:Agricultural green low-carbon transition can significantly promote food security.The robustness test of the fixed effects model u-sing the alternative explanatory variables method and the method of removing a certain time period,the re-search conclusions still hold.There is a positive moderating effect of agricultural machinery and equipment use.The level of agricultural mechanization has a bidirectional regulating effect on agricultural carbon e-missions,but the effect of reducing carbon emissions is greater than that of increasing carbon emissions.Arable land health can significantly promote food security.Through the use of organic carbon and organic fertilizer,the health of arable land improves,which has a positive impact on food security.Efforts should be made to promote the integration of green and low-carbon transformation of agriculture and food securi-ty,and to promote the improvement of the integration mechanism,the optimization of the integration path and the construction of the institutional system.关键词
