Research on the reasons and optimization methods of low dissolved oxygen in automatic monitoring in water environment

Abstract
To improve the accuracy of dissolved oxygen(DO)automatic monitoring data in water environments,in-situ DO comparisons were conducted at typical water quality automatic monitoring stations in Hubei Province.Issues and causes of the lower automatic monitoring values compared to in-situ measurements were analyzed,and systematic optimization methods were researched.The results show that the qualification rate of in-situ comparisons for automatic online instruments was 95.6%,which accurately reflected the DO content in water bodies.Unqualified cases were mainly caused by the water sampling system,control system,and analysis system.To effectively eliminate systematic influences,it is necessary to configure water pumps meeting operational requirements,set reasonable water sampling positions,sampling times,and data collection intervals,and enhance the frequency of surrounding environment and instrument maintenance.The research on systematic optimization methods can provide methodological references for other water monitoring stations.关键词
