New Forms of Rural Collective Economy:A Literature Review and Research Prospects

Abstract
The development of a new type of rural collective economy is a crucial approach to achieving the goal of common prosperity and advancing the rural revitalization strategy.Since the 18th National Con-gress of the Communist Party,research on new types of rural collective economies can be divided into two stages:from 2012 to 2015,this stage focused on defining the concept of new rural collective economies,summarizing practical experiences in local property rights reform,and exploring developmental pathways;from 2016 to the present,this stage has concentrated on integrating contemporary backgrounds into new rural collective economic studies,expanding and deepening their functions,as well as researching their integration with other significant themes.Relevant research can be categorized into several aspects:driv-ing forces behind the development of new types of rural collective economies;various development mod-els;content related to property rights reform;achievements attained through development;and existing challenges.Key findings include:important driving forces for promoting new types of rural collective e-conomies stem from government guidance and market incentives;diverse models for developing these e-conomies have been explored across different regions in practice;property rights reform has unleashed vi-tality in collective economic development;and such economies play a vital role in enhancing grassroots governance capabilities and increasing farmers'incomes.However,challenges remain including regional disparities in development,singularity in industrial growth patterns,insufficient financial support,and an urgent need to optimize governance structures.Looking ahead,it is essential to enhance the foresight of theoretical research by summarizing developmental experiences while strengthening investigations into ex-isting issues.Additionally,there is a need to optimize and expand research methodologies as well as bol-ster studies focusing on cultural and ecological functions within new types of rural collective economies.关键词
