Abstract

Taking the soil of a polluted forest area in Northeast China as the research object,based on the preliminary understanding of the basic physical and chemical properties,total heavy metals and morphological characteristics of mine soil and sludge compost,the phytoremediation method was adopted to analyze the remediation effects of four plants,including Imperata cylindrica,Artemisia argyi,Kummerowia striata and Oxalis corniculata,on heavy metal pollution in forest soil.The results showed that among the four plants,Kummerowia striata and Imperata cylindrica had relatively high total arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi infection rates,which were 44.28%and 65.37%respectively;the total infection rates of Oxalis corniculata and Artemisia argyi were relatively low,which were 0.012%and 27.78%respectively.After the remediation treatment,soil enzymes such as catalase,alkaline phosphatase,urease and dehydrogenase showed stronger activities.Tests revealed that high concentrations of heavy metals could inhibit enzyme activities,while low concentrations could activate enzyme activities.Among them,Cu had the highest resistance,and Cr had the lowest resistance.Compared with that before remediation,the number of microorganisms increased significantly.It is suggested that the research on phytoremediation technology should be strengthened,and the combined biochemistry remediation method should be used to treat soil pollution.
