共聚酯化法增韧增强PMMA光学透明材料
Optically Transparent Materials Enhanced by Co-polyesterization of PMMA

Abstract
A copolymer of methyl methacrylate(MMA),hydroxyethyl methacrylate(HEMA),and maleic anhydride(MAH)was synthesized through a free radical copolymerization reaction.The resulting copolymer was comprehensively characterized by optical testing,tensile test,and thermal gravimetric analysis.The results demonstrate that a mildly crosslinked network structure was constructed via the esterification reaction between HEMA and MAH,which significantly improve the tensile strength and toughness while maintaining the high optical transparency of PMMA.Compared to PMMA,its light transmittance exceeds 90.0%,with its tensile strength,elongation at break,Young's modulus,and toughness increased by 54.3%,58.0%,10.4%,and 131.5%,respectively.关键词
