Abstract

With the rapid development of electronic communication,more stringent requirements have been imposed on the dielectric properties of encapsulation materials.Therefore,a series of thermosetting epoxy resins were prepared by synthesizing an active ester curing agent(HFAE)through a simple esterification reaction using hexafluorobisphenol A as the raw material,after modulating the ratio of methylhexahydrophthalic anhydride(MHHPA)and HFAE to co-cure bisphenol A glycidyl ether(DGEBA).The effects of the structure and content of HFAE curing agent on the properties of the cured resins were investigated through the characterization of dielectric,mechanical,heat-resistant,and hydrophobic properties.The results showed that the resin exhibited more excellent dielectric and hydrophobic properties as the hydroxyl content gradually decreased and the fluorine content gradually increased with the increase of the HFAE mass ratio.When the mass ratio of MHHPA and HFAE was 4∶6,the prepared DMH-3 had a dielectric constant of 2.76 at 10 MHz,a dielectric loss of 0.0196,and a static water contact angle of 106.1°.However,the cross-linking density of the resin decreases with the increase of HFAE content,leading to a decrease in the mechanical and heat-resistant properties of the resin.
