Abstract
Based on the analysis of evaporation and precipitation data of the Menlou Reservoir hydrological station from 1963 to 2020,the monthly,quarterly,and annual variation characteristics of evaporation and precipitation in the Menlou Reservoir basin were investigated.The correlation analysis was conducted and the trend lines were analyzed using Excel tables.The monthly,quarterly,and annual relationships between evaporation and precipitation were analyzed,and then the significance of these correlations was further tested using the F-test method.The results indicated that the distributions of evaporation and precipitation within months,quarters,and years were highly uneven.No significant correlation was found between annual evaporation and precipitation.However,significant polynomial correlations existed between monthly and quarterly average evaporation and precipitation.Both annual average evaporation and precipitation showed a decreasing trend.These findings provide a scientific basis for flood control,drought relief,and improving water resource utilization efficiency in the Menlou Reservoir and the Jiaodong region,and also have implications for ecological protection.关键词
