Finite Element Analysis and Structural Optimization of Power Battery Box for New Energy Electric Vehicle
摘要
Abstract
To predict the static and dynamic characteristics of the power battery box under typical working conditions and reduce the actual test times and costs,the strength and modal analysis of a certain type of electric vehicle power battery box is carried out to reduce the weight and improve the low-order mode.Based on the Cell To Pack(CTP)design methodology,this research accomplished the conceptual design of CTP type large module box scheme.The finite element analysis method and technology are used to analyze the load bearing and static and dynamic characteristics of the battery box under the actual work-ing conditions,and then the wall thickness of the five regions of the battery box has been optimized..The optimized box structure meets the safety requirements of mechanical strength and stiffness under collision extrusion andsudden braking impact conditions,reduces the weight of the box structure by 17%,and in-creases the first-order mode by 14%.The optimized power battery box still meets the safety requirements under typical working conditions under the condition of mass reduction,improves the low-order mode,and effectively avoids the excitation area.关键词
