Abstract
The next-generation manned fighter is the centerpiece of the"family of systems"essential for future air superiority.By analyzing the budget input and the changes after review of USAF NGAD manned platform,this paper provides study and opinions about the adjusted design features and alternatives.Subsequently,for the USN F/A-XX platform,factors of funds,schedule and design features are also analyzed.Lastly,with the comparison of requirement difference and development status of the next-generation manned fighter between the USAF and USN,as well as the a-nalysis of common needs spawned by acutual war,it draws insights from the choice and trade-off of the US military.关键词
