认知视域下"礼"的词义色彩负化倾向探究
An Exploration of the Negative Tendency in the Semantic Color of the Word"Li"from the Perspective of Cognition
摘要
Abstract
The semantic color of the Chinese character"Li"(Ritual)has changed dramatically.With the advancement of so-cial and economic progress,the connotation of"Li"in its specific pragmatic usage has gradually deviated from its original denota-tions.In recent years,the"Li"in expressions such as"giving gifts"and"receiving gifts"no longer broadly refers to all"gifts"and no longer distinctly points to the connotative meaning of"celebration"or"friendship."Instead,it has evolved to become a synonym for"bribery"and"accepting bribes."This paper,grounded in the theoretical framework of cognitive linguistics,conducts an analy-sis of the event domain cognitive model of the term"giving gifts."It explores the generative mechanisms behind the negative conno-tation of the character"Li"and summarizes the mechanisms of cognitive color substitution in the pragmatic-semantic domain.关键词
