摘要

Abstract

This paper is aimed at addressing the stability of the surrounding rock in the roadway when the shield machine breaking the fault fracture zone.By taking the shield machine excavation in the belt main alley of Dongrong No.3 Mine as the engineering background,the study uses the FLAC3D software to simulate the variation characteristics of the surrounding rock stress,the displacement,the plastic zone and the strain ener-gy during the process of the shield machine passing through the fault fracture zone.The results show that when the shield machine passes through the fault,the horizontal stress on both sides of the surrounding rock in the tunneling face is concentrated with the maximum being approximately 2.4×107 Pa.The area approximately 40 meters away from the center of the fault during construction is the range affected by concentrated stress,and the deformation of the surrounding rock at the center of the fault reaches the maximum of 0.02 meters approxi-mately.The surrounding rock of the tunneling face undergoes plastic failure and extension under the action of stress,and the depth of the plastic zone at the fault layer reaches 2.5 meters.During the excavation process,the fault energy keeps accumulating,and the strain energy is approximately 2.6×104 J/m3.When the shield machine excavates within the fault fracture zone,the significant instability risk will occur,suggesting that the supporting measures should be taken in time.
