Abstract

Stamped aluminum alloy inserts are widely used in smartphones,and their surface treatment process is a key factor affecting electrical connection performance.The electrical connection between the stamped aluminum middle frame which is a core component of the smartphones,and the SMT spring on the motherboard is focused on.The nonlinear harmonic levels of the contact between the spring and the stamped aluminum surfaces,which are treated with the primary laser engraving,secondary laser engraving,high-gloss CNC processes,are incestigated.An electron scanning microscope,EDS energy spectrum analyzer,3D scanning light microscope,low resistance test instrument,and Mitutoyo roughness tester are used to analyze the causes of interference from the microscopic level of metal contact,and it was concluded that the stamped aluminum surface uses secondary radium The harmonic level of the electrical connection between the engraving process and the shrapnel is the weakest,20 dB lower than that of the primary laser engraving process.The harmonic level of the CNC high-gloss process is the strongest,reaching-40 dB without convergence.In the application of smart phone projects,it is recommended to use secondary laser engraving process on the surface of stamped aluminum alloy electrical connection locations.The primary laser engraving and high-gloss CNC processes should be used with caution in order to reduce the nonlinear impedance of the contact surface,thereby solving the problem of passive intermodulation and RSE harmonic interference in the whole machine.Effective basis for the design of electrical connection surface processing technology for stamped aluminum middle frames of terminal mobile phones is provided.
