Abstract

To solve the installation problem of the water guiding mechanism of the bulb turbine generator unit in the Nianpanshan Hydropower Hub Project in Hubei Province.A precise installation technology and process are proposed for the huge size(diameter 11 050 mm,weight 141 tons)and installation complexity of the water guiding mechanism.The main methods include designing special lifting and turning tools to maintain device balance and stability,as well as accurately combining external and internal water distribution rings,and using advanced welding technology to ensure structural stability.In addition,by accurately adjusting the clearance and concentricity of the guide vanes,combined with mechanical simulation and actual measurement,the mechanical behavior control during installation is ensured to avoid structural stress and deformation.The research results indicate that the installation technology and methods used effectively ensure the structural correctness and safety of the water guiding mechanism.The assembled water guiding mechanism exhibits excellent stability and operational performance,meeting the needs of power generation and shipping.Compared with traditional installation methods,the method used significantly improves installation efficiency and safety,reducing risks during the installation process.
