Abstract
Ball screw pair is a type of precision mechanical component.In actual production,before being put into formal use,the ball screw pair must undergo a certain degree of preloading.Preloading affects the magnitude of the torque,and finding an appropriate method to adjust the preload torque to allow the ball screw pair to operate more smoothly and efficiently has become an urgent problem to be solved.In response to this situation,the mechanisms of action for single-nut preloading and double-nut preloading are analyzed.Then,the stress conditions of the balls in the raceway and the return mechanism are explored,as well as the impact on the balls entering and exiting the return mechanism.These factors are then linked to the preload torque,and a mathematical model is established.Using MATLAB for data calculation,theoretical graphs of preload torque are generated.Finally,tests are conducted using a ball screw pair torque testing platform,three tests are performed to verify the accuracy of the theoretical calculations.The torque variation graphs output from the three tests generally matched the theoretical graphs,proving the accuracy of the theoretical model.Furthermore,the tests indicated that the magnitude of the preload torque tends to decrease and stabilize after multiple running-in cycles.This research provides significant guidance for future adjustments of preload torque in ball screw assemblies and further studies on preload torque.关键词
