Abstract

Truck scanning station passes the mine car through the gantry without stopping,the detector above the gantry measures the energy spectrum count rate generated by the ore in the mine car and analyzes the average uranium/thorium content of the ore.However,since the ore transportation volume of large mine cars exceeds 300 t,it is difficult to build a standard device for direct measurement based on the ore measurement conditions of the mine cars so that the measurement characteristic parameters do not change with time and the environment.In response to this problem,a small reference source is used instead of a large device to conduct calibration technology research,the intrinsic detection performance parameters of the detector of the mine car portal scanning station is calibrated,and then the Monte Carlo simulation method is used to simulate the detector pair of the mine car portal scanning station.Referring to the response of the source and the entire vehicle ore,a theoretical conversion relationship between the two is established,thereby establishing a theoretical model of passive efficiency scale.The verification results show that the relative error between the small-volume calibration model of the gantry truck scanning station and the on-site calibration results is less than 0.52%,proving the effectiveness and accuracy of the method.
