吉安市秋季豇豆耐热品种筛选及防虫网目数对蓟马防治的影响
Screening of heat-resistant varieties of autumn cowpeas in Ji'an as well as the effects of insect-proof mesh densities on the prevention and control of thrips

Abstract
[Objective]This study aimed to screen heat-resistant cowpea varieties and investigate the effects of insect-proof net mesh sizes on thrips control in Ji'an City.[Method]Three cowpea varieties(Taili Jinsheng,Caidie Xiafeng,and Caidie A-5)were introduced to evaluate the impacts of high-temperature stress on stem diameters,initial flowering node positions,and yields.Insect-proof nets with mesh sizes of 60,80,and 100 were deployed to study their effects on thrip populations.Key parameters,including stem diameters,flowering initiation,yields,and thrip density,were systematically measured.[Result](1)Under high-temperature conditions,significant differences(P<0.05)were observed among varieties in initial flowering node positions,stem diameters,and yields.Caidie A-5 exhibited the highest initial flowering node position,while Taili Jinsheng showed the largest stem diameter and maximum yield.(2)Significant variations(P<0.05)were detected among mesh-size treatments in flowering node positions,yields,and thrip density.The 100-mesh nets induced the highest flowering node position and lowest thrip density,whereas the 80-mesh nets achieved the highest yield,representing a 28.02%increase compared to that of the control(CK).No significant difference in stem diameters was observed across treatments,though CK plants displayed the largest stems.[Conclusion]Taili Jinsheng had the best heat resistance,with the yield reaching 10 000.16 kg/km2.The control effect of 100 mesh insect-proof nets on thrips was the best(43.00±2.65 individuals).Compared with the control,the number of thrips decreased by 77.72%,but the yield of 80 mesh insect-proof nets was the highest(9 062.62 kg/km2),which was 28.02%higher than that of CK.关键词
