From Governance Quality Optimization to Government Trust Construction:A Dual-Path Analysis of Social Fairness and Political Identity

Abstract
Government trust is important for as social cohesion,national stability and economic prosperity.Governance quality is the basis for forming government trust.In order to explore the realization path from governance quality optimization to government trust construction,this study con-structs a dual mediation model from governance quality optimization to government trust construction,and conducts hypothesis testing using data from the 2021 Chinese Social Survey.The evidence suggests that governance quality can positively affect government trust through the dual mediating roles of social fairness and political identity.The study elucidates the mechanism of governance quality's effect on government trust,providing insights for optimizing governance quality,improving social fairness,fostering political identity,and thus enhancing government trust.关键词
