南昌市某犬场犬肠道寄生虫流行病学调查
Epidemiological investigation of intestinal parasites in dogs at a certain dog farm in Nanchang City

Abstract
[Objective]This study aims to investigate the prevalence and infection status of intestinal parasitic diseases among dogs at a dog farm in Nanchang City,thereby providing scientific evidence for the formulation of effective prevention and control measures.[Method]Fresh fecal samples from 147 dogs were collected and examined by using methods such as direct smear,saturated salt water flotation,and sedimentation.[Result]The findings revealed a total detection rate of parasite eggs at 41.50%.Five types of parasite eggs were identified,including Toxocara canis,coccidia,Trichuris vulpis,Toxascaris leonina,and hookworms,with a mixed infection rate of 6.80%.The results indicated that there were differences in the infection rates of intestinal parasites among dogs of different ages,while the infection rates of different types of intestinal parasites and among dogs of different genders showed little variation.Among them,the infection rate of Toxocara canis was the highest,reaching 13.61%.[Conclusion]These results indicated that the infection of intestinal parasites in dogs at this kennel was quite prevalent,and it was necessary to strengthen the prevention and control of parasitic diseases.关键词
