Genetic Correlation Analysis in Half-Sib Families of Casuarina equisetifolia and the Selection of Ortet
摘要
Abstract
[Objective]This study aimed to understand the genetic variation patterns of growth traits in half-sib families of Casuarina equisetifolia at different stand ages(4-and 10-year-old)and clarify their genetic correlations.[Method]Using 108 half-sib families of C.equisetifolia as research materials,Ge-netic analysis and early-late growth correlations were carried out on three growth traits,including tree height,diameter at breast height(DBH),and individual tree volume at both 4-and.Based on the inves-tigation at 10-year-old stage,the cluster analysis was employed to identify superior families and indi-vidual trees for clonal propagation.[Result]The results show that the C.equisetifolia exhibits significant differences in tree height,DBH,and individual tree volume among different families at both ages(P<0.01).The family heritability and individual heritability of growth traits ranged from 0.450 0 to 0.711 9 and 0.156 3 to 0.498 9,respectively,indicating moderate-to-strong and moderate-to-week genetic con-trol.The genetic and phenotypic correlation coefficients between 4-year-old and 10-year-old traits were 0.649-0.767 and 0.869-0.934,respectively,all reaching significant or highly significant levels.,with 35%early selection intensity at the family level,the accuracy reached 73.68%,achieving genetic gains of 4.35%(height),7.13%(DBH),and 15.31%(volume)at 10-year-old stage.Using comprehensive evaluation and cluster analysis,7 outstanding families were selected and showed the genetic gains of 8.87%(height),16.23%(DBH),and 42.59%(volume),and 12 ortets with genetic gains of 7.60%(height),16.59%(DBH)and 59.27%(volume).[Conclusion]In summary,the significant genetic cor-relation support reliable early selection at 4-year-old stage with 35%selection intensity.The selected seven superior families and twelve clones can significantly enrich the superior germplasm resource of C.equisetifolia.关键词
