Abstract
Through a comprehensive analysis of oily skin,its multifaceted characteristics are revealed.In terms of sebum composition,adult sebum has diverse components.Squalene and wax esters are unique to human sebum and are significantly different from epidermal lipid components,which is closely related to the skin barrier function.Sebaceous glands are unevenly distributed.The multilobed sebaceous glands on the face play a key role in the secretion of sebum in the T zone,and their functions are finely regulated by multiple hormones.The mechanism of sebum secretion involves cell differentiation and secretion,which is affected by factors such as diet,unsaturated fatty acids,genetics,age,gender,race and season.In addition,squalene peroxide produced by sebum oxidation is related to acne,and the dark yellowing of oily skin is related to factors such as squalene peroxidation and accumulation of stratum corneum.This study has certain reference significance for a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics of oily skin and the study of skin care and related mechanisms for special populations.关键词
