Abstract
The composition,physicochemical properties,antioxidant,soothing,and repairing effects of Canadian bentonite(CANADIAN COLLOIDAL CLAY)were studied.The experimental results showed that Canadian bentonite was mainly composed of minerals,with an organic content of about 1.7%,and a crude protein content of about 0.81%.The oil absorption value of Canadian bentonite was 37.3%.The ethanol extract of Canadian bentonite showed good hyaluronidase inhibition rate and free radical scavenging rate.When the extract concentration was 15 mg/mL,the hyaluronic acid inhibition rate reached 77.4%;When the extract concentration was 3 mg/mL,the free radical scavenging rate reached 87.3%.The cell scratch experiment showed that 1 μg/mL Canadian bentonite extract had the effect of promoting wound healing.The human efficacy experiment further confirmed that Canadian bentonite had soothing and repairing effects.From the above results,it can be seen that Canadian bentonite has antioxidant,soothing,and repairing effects.关键词
