Abstract
In recent years,the incidence rate of head and neck and chest malignant tumors in China is on the rise.As one of the main treatment methods,radiotherapy is widely used.Radiation esophagitis is a common complication of radiotherapy for malignant tumors in the head,neck and chest,which seriously af-fects the quality of life and long-term survival rate of patients.Effective prevention and treatment measures for radiation esophagitis can greatly alleviate patients'pain,improve their tolerance to treatment and prolong their survival.This article reviews the research progress of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment for radiation esophagitis.关键词
