Abstract
Objective:To investigate the current situation of personal mastery in patients after lower extremity traumatic fracture surgery.To explore the mechanism of self-efficacy and social support on personal mastery in postoperative patients with traumatic fracture of the lower extremity,so as to provide references for promoting the recovery of patients and improving their quality of life.Methods:By using the convenience sampling method,a total of 391 postoperative patients with traumatic fracture of the lower extremity in a tertiary grade A hospital in Sichuan province from January to October 2023 were selected for investigation.The investigation was conducted by using the general information questionnaire,Personal Mastery Scale(PMS),Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS)and Self-Efficacy for Rehabilitation Outcome Scale(SER).Results:The total score of PMS in patients after lower extremity traumatic fracture surgery was(22.22±4.50)points.There were positive correlation between the patients'personal mastery and self-efficacy as well as social support(P<0.01).There was also a positive correlation between social support and self-efficacy(P<0.01).Analysis by the Bootstrap method showed that the mediating effect of self-efficacy in postoperative patients with lower extremity traumatic fractures between social support and personal control was significant(P<0.01).The mediating effect accounts for 43.87%of the total effect.Conclusions:The personal mastery of patients after lower extremity traumatic fracture surgery was at a medium level.It could help patients obtain social support,promote the transformation of self-efficacy into personal mastery,and improve the quality of life of patients.关键词
