Sinicization of the Peer Evaluation Scale of Team-Based Learning and its reliability and validity test

Abstract
Objective:To translate the Peer Evaluation Scale of Team-Based Learning(PES-TBL)into Chinese,and to test its reliability and validity among undergraduate nursing students,so as to provide a tool for scientific evaluation of the effect of team-based learning.Methods:Based on the Brislin translation principle,the Chinese version of PES-TBL was formed through translation,back translation,cross-cultural adaptation and pre-investigation.A total of 480 undergraduate nursing students in a college of nursing in Hangzhou city were selected by convenience sampling method,to test the reliability and validity of the scale.Results:The Chinese version of PES-TBL included 3 dimensions of responsibility,initiative and cooperation,with a total of 12 items.The Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.936.And the Cronbach's α coefficient of the three dimensions were 0.906,0.885 and 0.880.The split half reliability of the scale was 0.904.And the retest reliability was 0.906.The scale-level content validity index(S-CVI)was 0.917.And the item-level content validity index(I-CVI)ranged from 0.857 to 1.000.Exploratory factor analysis extracted 3 common factors.The cumulative contribution rate of variance was 70.167%.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model fit well.Conclusions:The Chinese version of PES-TBL has good reliability and validity.And it could be used as an evaluation tool for team learning of undergraduate nursing students in China.关键词
