Qualitative study on the learning experience of undergraduate nursing students in obstetrics and gynecology nursing under the BOPPPS teaching model
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore the learning experience of nursing students in the process of obstetrics and gynecology nursing under the BOPPPS teaching model,so as to provide reference for improving teaching effectiveness and promoting teaching reform. Methods:The nursing students in grade 2021 in nursing school of our university adopt the obstetrics and gynecology nursing course based on the BOPPPS teaching model. After the course ended,by using the purposive sampling method,14 nursing students whose grades at the end of the obstetrics and gynecology nursing semester were greater than 60 points were selected for one-to-one in-depth interviews. The interview data were analyzed using the Colaizzi 7-step analysis method. Results:Based on the interview materials, three themes were summarized:learning experience(stimulating learning interest, enhancing the sense of classroom participation, and strengthening personal confidence),learning effect(consolidating theoretical foundation, optimizing learning methods, and expanding thinking patterns),and teaching feedback(the diversity of introduction forms needs to be enriched, and the rigor of teaching design needs to be improved). Conclusions:Applying the BOPPPS teaching model to the teaching of obstetrics and gynecology nursing could improve the learning experience of nursing students and enhance the teaching effect.Improvements still need to be made to aim at the deficiencies in the learning feedback and optimize the BOPPPS teaching model further.关键词
