Dynamic characteristics and valve hysteresis of diaphragm pump in slurry transportation

Abstract
In order to analyze the dynamic characteristics of diaphragm pumps in the context of slurry pipeline transportation,the GEHO TZPM1600 diaphragm pump was selected as the research subject.A mechanical-hydraulic joint simulation model for the diaphragm pump was established,and the effects of different crank speeds on the dynamic characteristics of the diaphragm pump was analyzed.Additionally,the effects of parameters such as crank speed,crank length,and pump inlet pressure on the opening and closing hysteresis times of the suction and discharge valves were examined.The analy-sis indicates that the changes in crank speed significantly influence the dynamic characteristics of the discharge valve.When the crank speed increases from 10 r/min to 30 r/min,the maximum opening speed of the discharge valve increases by 9.449 m/s,the maximum closing speed increases by 0.945 m/s,the maximum increase of the valve flow rate pulsations is 17 220.0 L/min,and the maximum in-crease in backflow rate is 1 071.5 L/min.The opening and closing hysteresis times of the suction and discharge valves are primarily influenced by crank speed,crank length,and pump inlet pressure.The opening hysteresis time of the suction valve is more strongly affected by the crank speed,with an in-crease in speed reducing the opening hysteresis time by 0.117 s.The closing hysteresis time is more susceptible to the influence of crank length and pump inlet pressure,with the hysteresis time increasing by 0.261 s as the crank length increases.Changes in crank speed,crank length,and pump inlet pres-sure mainly affect the opening hysteresis time of the discharge valve.The research findings provide guidance for the technological improvement of diaphragm pumps in slurry transportation systems.关键词
