Performance effects of number of baffles and stirring speed on vertical axis wind heater

Abstract
In order to investigate the effects of baffles and stirring speed on the performance of vertical axis wind heating device,stirring heating tests were designed and carried out with five different num-bers of baffles and three stirring speeds.The trends of the heat under 15 different working conditions were analyzed,and the effects of baffles and stirring speed on the performance of the vertical axis wind heater were obtained by combining them with the flow field inside the vertical axis wind heater.The re-sults show that the installation of baffles can significantly improve the thermal performance of the stirred vertical-axis stirring device.When the stirring speed is kept constant,increasing the number of baffles will improve the thermal performance of the vertical axis wind heating device,but when the number of baffles is increased from 4 to 6,the thermal performance is almost no longer improved.Increasing the stirring speed at a certain number of baffles effectively improves the thermal performance of the vertical axis wind heater.The baffle plate mainly affect the thermal performance by improving the internal flow conditions of the vertical axis wind heating device,while the stirring speed mainly affects the thermal performance by increasing the intensity of the fluid flow in the vertical axis wind heating device.This study can provide a reference basis for the design and performance improvement of vertical axis wind heating devices.关键词
