Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of lightweight stereoscopic 3D mesh and fixation-free mesh on pain and inflammatory reaction after laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal hernia repair in patients with inguinal hernia.Methods:A total of 106 patients with inguinal hernia who underwent laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal hernia repair in Huiyang Sanhe Hospital,Huizhou from January 2021 to December 2023 were retrospectively included.The patients were divided into two groups according to the type of mesh used in the operation:3D mesh group(n=55)with lightweight stereoscopic 3D mesh,and fixation-free group(n=51)with fixation-free mesh.The surgical indicators,postoperative pain level,inflammatory reaction,and complications of the two groups were compared.Results:There were no significant differences in operation time,intraoperative blood loss,hospital stay,and postoperative visual analogue scale pain score between the 3D mesh group and the fixation-free group(P>0.05).24 hours after surgery,the serum C-reactive protein and interleukin-6 levels in the fixation-free group were lower than those in the 3D mesh group[(7.64±1.08)mg/L vs.(8.12±1.22)mg/L,(3.41±0.62)pg/mL vs.(3.85±0.77)pg/mL,both P<0.05].The incidence of postoperative seroma in the fixation-free group was lower than that in the 3D mesh group(2.0%vs.14.5%,P<0.05).There were no significant differences in complications such as postoperative urinary retention and chronic pain between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Both lightweight stereoscopic 3D mesh and fixation-free mesh can effectively reduce postoperative pain after laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal hernia repair.The use of fixation-free mesh can reduce the incidence of postoperative seroma and alleviate inflammatory reaction.关键词
