Dynamic Tensile Behavior of LRS FRP Composite Panels and Calibration of the Constitutive Model Parameters

Abstract
To investigate the dynamic tensile properties of Large Rupture Strain Fiber Reinforced Polymers(LRS FRP)composite panels,static and dynamic tensile mechanical property tests were carried out to obtain the static and dynamic tensile stress-strain relationships under different strain rates;Based on the static test,the constitutive model parameters of the LRS FRP composite plates were calibrated,and a prediction model for the dynamic consti-tutive model was established.The results indicate that both static and dynamic tensile of LRS FRP composite plates manifest as failure of layer separation.The relationship between dynamic tensile stress-strain exhibits a size effect dependent on the thickness of the composite plate,as well as a significant strain rate effect,namely the dynamic enhancement factors for turning point stress,E1,and E2 increase with strain rate elevation,while the turning point strain decreases;The proposed FEM-empirical correction model can effectively simulate the mechanical response of LRS FRP composite plates under various tensile strain rates.关键词
