Abstract

Train tracking interval time is a core indicator to measure the railway carrying capacity.In recent years,the four-network integration of rail transit has been highly valued.Chinese train control system(CTCS)for national railways is generally adopted in trunk railways and intercity railways,while communications-based train control(CBTC)is preferred in urban rail transit projects.Therefore,there is an urgent need to address cross-system interconnection.This paper sorted out the current situation and future trend of interconnection technologies of different signal systems in China and abroad,focusing on the specific impact of interconnection between different signal systems on train tracking interval under the two conditions of existing on-board dual system and ground dual system.Through calculation and analysis,the internal mechanism of train tracking under on-board dual system technology and ground dual system technology was revealed.Based on reasonable assumptions,various factors affecting train tracking interval were classified and calculated.The research conclusions provide a reference for the reasonable setting of the location and length of the co-management area with an on-board dual system and the improvement of the carrying capacity of the line with a ground dual system.
