Analysis of Vehicle Vibration Response of Hollow Slab Beam Bridge Strengthened by Steel Hoops Reinforcement Method

Abstract
To solve the common problems of hinge joint disease and single plate stress in hollow slab beam bridges,and improve the structural performance and durability of bridges,a steel hoops reinforcement scheme was proposed.A bridge project was selected as the experimental object to verify the scheme.The actual deformation data of the bridge was obtained by displacement monitoring before and after reinforcement;At the same time,finite element simulation was used to analyze the reinforcement effect from a theoretical perspective to achieve the evaluation of combination of theory and practice.The research results show that steel hoops method significantly reduced the peak strain at the bottom of the mid span,enhanced the transverse connection of the beam,and effectively improved the stress of the single plate.That the reinforcement effect of three hoops was better than that of two hoops was verified by further comparison,and the effect was the best at the mid span(L/2)position.Compared with the one at 3L/8 and 5L/8 positions,the reinforcement effect of the latter was weakened by about 10%.Therefore,the steel hoops method can significantly improve the overall integrity and durability of bridges.The mid span position is recommended to be preferred selection for reinforcement in practical engineering to fully utilize the advantages and achieve the best re-inforcement effect.This research findings can provide a novel approach and methodology for the strengthening of similar bridges.关键词
