Abstract

To explore the impact of the opening of a new high speed railway line on the spatiotemporal accessibility of railway passenger transport networks for urban agglomerations,a spatiotemporal weighted railway passenger transport network model for urban agglomerations based on the complex network Space L modeling method was established,with actual railway passenger stations as network nodes.An accessibility evaluation model was proposed to measure the spatiotemporal accessibility and its changes in nodes and the network.Chengdu-Yibin High Speed Railway and Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration were taken as a case study.The results show that after the opening of Chengdu-Yibin High Speed Railway,seven new stations have been operated,and the spatial of about 43%of existing stations and the temporal accessibility of about 47%of existing stations are improved,but the improvement effect is limited.The average shortest route length and average shortest travel time of the network decrease by 0.23%and 0.03%,respectively,indicating a slight improvement in the spatiotemporal accessibility of the network.Through the Spearman correlation test and comparative analysis,the ranking of stations based on temporal accessibility values remains unchanged,while the ranking of stations based on spatial accessibility values has slight changes,indicating that the impact of the new line opening on spatiotemporal accessibility is not uniform.However,the ranking of the top 10 key stations remains unchanged.There are differences between key stations in terms of spatiotemporal accessibility in the railway network.
