Research on Optimization of Product Pricing for High Speed Railway Travel Prepaid Tickets

Abstract
This study addressed the insufficient theoretical research and lack of scientific support in pricing mechanisms for new high speed railway travel prepaid tickets by constructing a pricing optimization model.First,the research established a cumulative prospect-regret theory-based(CPT-RT)passenger travel choice model within the road-rail competition market according to the products of travel prepaid tickets,incorporating complexity indicators to reflect product characteristics of travel prepaid tickets.This model was employed to predict market share distribution among different transportation modes.Subsequently,a revenue maximization pricing model for travel prepaid tickets was developed and solved using the particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm.Taking the Kunming-Dali-Lijiang travel prepaid ticket as a case study,the pricing optimization model was applied to determine its optimal price.The results show that under the given case scenario and model assumptions,the calculated optimal price for the Kunming-Dali-Lijiang travel prepaid ticket is 373.39 yuan.Based on average passenger flow data of high speed railway markets,the model demonstrates potential to attract 19.91%of road transportation users.The railway sector will achieve a 46.91%increase in overall market share,along with a 31.13%growth in daily revenue and a 46.93%rise in daily passenger flow.关键词
