摘要

Abstract

To evaluate the effectiveness of the composite support system combining annular concrete support and steel supports for the irregularly-shaped deep foundation pit at Phase Ⅰ of Xinghuo Station of Beijing Metro Line 3,a 3D finite element model was established by Midas GTS software to simulate the deformation characteristics of staged excavation.By automatic monitoring system,the data of retaining structures displacements,axial forces and soil de-formation were measured.The results demonstrated that the composite structure of annular concrete support and steel supports effectively constrained the pit deformation,with the maximum horizontal displacement of retaining piles of 26.3 mm,peak supports axial force of 599.78 kN,and external settlement/heave values of 18.7 mm and 23.69 mm respectively,all below-specified control thresholds;The deviation rate between numerical simulation and monitoring data was below 15%.The synergistic effects of the composite support system were furtherly con-firmed.During the process,the scheme successfully controlled the 3D deformation of the irregularly-shaped deep foundation pit through complementary spatial stiffness of annular supports,providing valuable references for similar engineering projects.
